National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Today, we honour residential school Survivors, their families and communities, and remember the children who never made it home. Reconciliation requires ongoing learning and action, and we encourage everyone in our community to take time today to listen, learn, and reflect. Be Lake Smart All-Year Long
Resources, tips, and tools to help you and your family enjoy Mahogany Lake safely and confidently.
Water Safety Starts at Home: Read Our Brochure!
Mahogany Lake is an unsupervised open-water environment, and staying safe starts before you arrive. Our new Living Safely Around Water guide brings together practical information on active supervision, lifejackets, emergency preparedness, seasonal hazards, and safe lake use to help every family enjoy the water with confidence. Download a digital copy or pick one up at the Beach Club.

See the Flag. Check the Conditions. Make LakeSmart Decisions.
Mahogany's Seasonal Lake Flag System now includes a yellow flag, joining green and red. A yellow flag means the lake is open, but elevated hazards are present. Use caution, make your own decision about whether conditions are right for you and those in your care, and check the lake status page for details before entering the water or ice. A yellow flag does not mean conditions are safe. Use at your own risk.
