Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Grounds Keeper is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and safe operation of the Mahogany Homeowners Association’s facilities, parks, and lake. This position plays a key role in ensuring outdoor recreation and leisure spaces are clean, functional, and welcoming for residents. Duties include both summer and winter maintenance, supporting events, and operating a variety of mechanical and landscaping equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of parks, facilities, and lakefront areas
- Conduct seasonal tasks such as:
- Winter: Ice installation, resurfacing (RTV/ice-resurfacer operation), snow removal, sanding/salting pathways
- Summer: Sand raking, landscaping, cleaning outdoor areas
- Operate and maintain equipment including motorboats, utility vehicles, and ice maintenance tools
- Monitor facility and lake systems (e.g., ice conditions, water quality, HVAC readings)
- Conduct regular patrols to identify safety concerns or equipment malfunctions
- Perform preventative maintenance and monthly safety checks on emergency equipment
- Support the setup, takedown, and monitoring of special events and large-scale programs
- Maintain washrooms, change rooms, foyers, and high-traffic public spaces
- Respond to resident inquiries with excellent customer service and professionalism
- Complete and submit detailed incident and accident reports as needed

Qualifications:

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Memberships Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while overseeing the administration of the membership onboarding process for new residents. Reporting to the office Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating membership setup, account creation, ownership transfers, onboarding communications, invoice administration, payment tracking, and record maintenance to ensure new members are successfully integrated into the community. Playing a key role in the Customer Service team, the Memberships Coordinator also provides front-line service to members, residents, guests, and the public, assisting with inquiries, registrations, payments, and facility information. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to creating positive experiences for both new and existing members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end membership onboarding, including account setup, ownership transfers, documentation, waivers, and record maintenance.
- Deliver engaging onboarding communications, providing members with account access, requirements, resources, and key information to ensure a seamless start.
- Liaise with members and external stakeholders, including lawyers, real estate agents, property managers, and service providers, ensuring all inquiries and requests are handled professionally, accurately, and in alignment with organizational values.
- Coordinate onboarding workflows and tracking systems to ensure documentation, payments, waivers, account information, and membership requirements are processed and completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor onboarding milestones to ensure all documentation, payments, waivers, and membership requirements are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, processing registrations and payments, sharing facility information, and supporting front-desk operations in person, by phone, and via email.
- Support daily office operations through filing, scanning, data entry, room bookings, and maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational policies, programs, facilities, and community updates to provide accurate information and support to members and residents.
- Contribute to operational excellence by supporting process improvements, participating in team initiatives, adapting to changing priorities, and assisting with additional responsibilities as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education considered an asset)
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, membership services, or a related field preferred

Objective:
The Sales & Bookings Coordinator, reporting to the Programs & Events Manager (PEM), is responsible for driving sales of corporate packages and overseeing all aspects of MHOA facility rentals, from initial inquiry through event completion.
The Sales & Bookings Coordinator is responsible for driving facility‑rental revenue by developing compelling, profitable corporate packages and actively selling them through targeted community outreach and strategic cold calling. This role converts booking inquiries into confirmed contracts, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from first contact to final agreement.
A key part of the position involves evaluating and improving current booking processes to increase operational efficiency and enhance the customer journey. The Coordinator also plays a creative, entrepreneurial role by identifying new revenue opportunities and designing rental options that align with evolving community needs within the greater South East Calgary Community.

Direct Report: Landscaping Supervisor

Objective:
The Mahogany Homeowners Association is seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Seasonal Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Landscaping Supervisor, contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of the community’s parks, green spaces, and recreational areas.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform manual landscaping tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grounds Maintenance: Assist in maintaining lawns, tree wells, medians, boulevards, and other landscaped areas by mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
- Tree & Shrub Care: Prune and maintain trees and shrubs, clean curbs, and assist in maintaining traffic circles.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and blowers. Perform routine daily inspections and basic upkeep of tools.
- Work Logging & Reporting: Ensure all completed work is logged accurately and report any issues or concerns to the Landscaping Supervisor.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, including proper handling of tools and equipment. Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to facility users and community members, answering inquiries and helping to resolve any issues.
- Special Projects: Support various landscaping projects, including rehabilitation projects, xeriscaping, and other environmentally sustainable landscape improvements.

Objective:
The position of Skatepark Instructor/Host requires the candidate to have an energetic approach, be very comfortable and enjoys working with members of the public, planning, instructing and imparting skateboarding knowledge and skills to program participants. Our Skateboard Instructors will help promote a positive atmosphere and share their passion for skateboarding with those in the community. They will have an outgoing upbeat friendly attitude while confidently implementing and overseeing the skateboarding skills safety and skatepark etiquette and protocol. They will lead and instill one of inclusiveness, respect for all and be welcoming to all riders irrespective of skill and abilities. The instructor is responsible for teaching basic skating skills to children, ages 4-15, plus adults. Instructors must work very well with primary ages and they must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with the participants’ parents. The Skateboard Instructor will host and function as a role model and leader on site, displaying and encouraging good skateboard etiquette and safety at all times while encouraging a quality skatepark learning experience for participants all while having fun!

Key Responsibilities
- Help design, write, and implement a weekly skateboard program lesson plan for your class age group
- Organize and lead a variety of skill-based tasks that progress to building the skateboard skills of the participant each week
- Create a positive, safe, and fun learning environment to participants while supporting and enhancing their experiences
- Ensure that the site or area is kept clean, organized, safe and free of litter
- Liaises with parents and children on instruction progress and report concerns to the PEM or designate
- Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, and class attendance
- Follow all safety guidelines associated with the skateboard program. This includes, but is not limited to, being responsible for your participant’s safety and their whereabouts at all times
- Welcoming new patrons and familiarizing them with park etiquette, rules and regulations and pointing out key areas of interest
- Promoting and assisting with the planning and organizing of authorized events happening at the skatepark, such as community events, competitions, etc.
- Performing visual inspections to identify potential hazards and dealing with minor maintenance and reporting tasks (e.g. sweeping, tightening screws, etc.)
- Demonstrating safe practices such as enforcing the proper wearing of helmets and safety gear
- Filling out a Log book, Incident Reports, taking statistics and providing First Aid
