Everything you need to know for a smooth visit to the Mahogany Beach Club this season.
With summer in full swing, we've pulled together everything you need to know for a smooth visit to the Mahogany Beach Club this season: what to expect on busy days, how to get set up if you're new to the community, and how to keep your access active all summer long.
On Busy Days, Here's What to Expect
With summer now in full swing, foot traffic through the Mahogany Beach Club will ramp up, especially on beautiful days ahead. With that in mind, here are a few things to keep in mind while visiting:
Credential Checks
On busy days, staff may ask residents to verify homeowner credentials when entering the park; this is to make sure everything is up to date and secure.
Cooler Inspections
Staff may ask to inspect coolers to ensure no alcohol comes onto the property. Alcohol is not permitted in any park facilities, which include the lake and beaches.
Guest Sign-In
All guests must be signed in when entering the park. Residents must remain with their guests the entire time. There is a limit of 8 guests per household, per day.
Lifejackets Required
Everyone using a watercraft on Mahogany Lake must wear an approved, properly fitted lifejacket at all times, as per City of Calgary Bylaw No. 9084.
We know weekends can get busy, and wait times at the gate intercoms may take a bit longer than expected. Thank you for your patience while our staff assists everyone as quickly as possible. With these in mind, we as a community can make this summer memorable and unforgettable for all!
New to Mahogany? Here's How to Get Set Up
If you've just moved into the community, welcome! To get set up with your Mahogany Beach Club access credentials, start by updating your Alberta government-issued photo ID to your new Mahogany address within 14 days, as required by law. Once your updated ID arrives, stop by the Mahogany Beach Club to complete your registration:
Bring your updated government-issued photo ID and either your Land title or a New Home Warranty Insurance Certificate (accepted for up to 3 months of temporary access while you await your Land Title).
Bring your updated government-issued photo ID, your Land Title or a Proof of Purchase letter from your lawyer (accepted for up to three months of temporary access while you await your Land Title), and pay the one-time $75 Resale Administration Fee.
Bring your updated government-issued photo ID, a copy of your current lease showing the expiry date, a completed Transfer of Membership Privileges (TOMP) form from your landlord, and pay the one-time $65 Rental Lease Administration Fee.
Avoid long wait times and potential delays by getting set up early. Our team will walk you through the paperwork and issue your credentials on the spot, so you're all set to enjoy the beach, parks, events, and more. Sign-ups can be completed 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Keep Your Access Active
A quick reminder to all our residents: to ensure uninterrupted access to all Beach Club amenities, please make sure your lease agreement is up to date. If your lease is due for renewal or has recently been renewed, please stop by the Main Beach Club office with a copy of your new lease, or email it to reception@mahoganyhoa.com at your earliest convenience.
Please also note that sharing your lake access privileges is strictly prohibited. Any household found to be violating this policy will be subject to immediate suspension. We kindly ask all residents to respect this rule for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone in the community.
We love having you here and don't want you to miss out on any of the fun this season!
