In the spirit of truth, respect, and reconciliation, the Mahogany Homeowners Association wishes to acknowledge the Land on which we gather today as the traditional and ancestral territories of the Treaty 7 people in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nations, and the Stoney Nakoda (comprised of the Chiniki, the Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
