Parade of Lights & Tree of Hope
The 1st Saturday of December (December 6, 2025), kicks off the Christmas Season in Mahogany! Santa and Mrs. Claus are able to get away from the North Pole during this busy time to join in the festivities. Residents and their families line the streets to show their holiday cheer for local businesses and community groups that have come together to create floats and fun for Mahogany’s very own parade! Come one, come all! Invite your friends as this parade is open to everyone!

Bundle up, bring the family, and join us in Mahogany for the 8th Annual Parade of Lights!
Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to town, local groups and businesses will light up the route with dazzling floats, and you’ll get to vote for your favourites!
What to Look Forward to:
- Parade Floats — Vote for the "People's Choice" float and see Santa & Mrs. Claus in action.
- Decorated Homes — Help crown the "Best Decorated House" along the route.
- Toy Drive — Bring new, unwrapped toys for donation to the Boys & Girls Club (with support from Junk King)

A short mandatory safety meeting will be held on Sunday, November 30 at 2:00pm. Only one person per parade entry is required to attend.

Want the best seat in the house? Volunteer as a Parade Marshal!
- Help keep the route safe (with Calgary Police Support).
- Only about an hour of your time.
- Once the parade passes your spot, you're done!

💡 Tree of Hope
Due to the recent flooding at the Beach Club, the Tree of Hope lighting will not take place this year. All donations collected will still be delivered to the Veterans Association Food Bank as planned.
