Mahogany HOA Ice Update
Outdoor Rink (ODR): CLOSED
The Outdoor Rink remains closed as our maintenance team continues rebuilding the ice surface following recent weather impacts. Flooding and restoration work is ongoing, and we are hopeful the rink will reopen within the next few days as conditions allow.
Please note that upcoming City of Calgary water restrictions beginning March 9 may impact our ability to continue flooding the rink as frequently as needed for rebuilding. Our team will work within these guidelines while doing everything possible to restore safe skating conditions.
Lake Ice Surfaces: OPEN (with restrictions)
Mahogany Lake remains open, with green flags flying. The following areas are currently available for use:
- Hockey rinks
- Skate ovals
- Pathways
Lake bridges are currently closed while our team continues monitoring ice thickness in those areas to ensure safe conditions.
