Flooding & Service Updates
Overview & Current Status
Following the major flooding incident at the Mahogany Beach Club on December 2, 2025, remediation and restoration work has continued steadily. While construction remains ongoing in several areas of the building, progress has allowed for the safe reopening of select spaces.
The safety of our residents, staff, and facility users remains our top priority. Spaces are reopening in phases only after they have been fully repaired, inspected, and approved for use. We appreciate the community’s continued patience and cooperation as this work progresses.
Key Updates (January 21, 2026)
MHOA Admin Team back in the Main Office
The MHOA Adminsitrative team has now returned to the main office inside the Mahogany Beach Club building. While the rest of the building remains off limits due to construction, the main office is fully operational for administrative services.
Please note that the building can not be accessed through the main entrance or lobby at this time. Instead:
- The Skate Room and washrooms (located inside the Skate Room) are accessed through the Skate Room Door. This door is on the left side of the building if you are entering the park, and on the right side if you are coming from the lake ice inside the park, near Gate 12.
- Construction fencing remains in place in the parking lot, and pedestrian access routes have been adjusted accordingly.
- A map showing the walking route around the construction fencing is provided below. You can also look for the parking lot banners with directional arrows and follow these for guidance.
Skate Room Access
The Skate Room and washrooms (located inside the Skate Room) are open for MHOA member use via the Skate Room entrance. The Skate Room will not be accessible earlier on weekdays, as the space is used by Brightstars Preschool during school hours. The following access schedule remains in place:
- Weekdays: 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Weekends: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Temporary Trailer Offices Removed
With the main office now fully operational inside the building, the temporary trailer offices have been removed from the site. Thank you to our community for your patience and understanding while administrative services have operated out of these temporary accommodations.
Office Hours of Operation
Our Main Office (inside Beach Club building) is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., unless otherwise specified. The West Beach Office is closed and is not providing administrative services.
The West Beach Satellite Office is now closed and no longer providing administrative services.
Ongoing Repairs & What to Expect Next
Restoration of the Mahogany Beach Club will continue to move forward in phases. Additional areas will reopen only once they have been fully repaired, inspected, and confirmed safe for use. Full restoration of all remaining spaces is still anticipated within the previously communicated timelines (~5 months), subject to construction progress and inspections.
Regular updates will continue to be shared as milestones are reached. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work toward the full reopening of the Mahogany Beach Club.
