Winter Classic Tournament 2026 Cancellation
As much as we truly love hosting the annual Winter Classic 3-on-3 Hockey Tournament, we regret to share that the event will not take place in 2026.
Due to the ongoing facility closures following the flooding at the Mahogany Beach Club, we are currently unable to provide the essential indoor spaces required to safely host this tournament. This includes access to areas for players to:
- Change and store equipment
- Warm up between games
- Take breaks
- Use washrooms
Without these spaces, hosting the tournament would not be safe, comfortable, or fair for the players, volunteers, or spectators. After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the event for this year.
We know how much the Winter Classic means to our community; it has always been a highlight of the winter season, bringing together players, families, and friends for a weekend of exciting hockey and community fun. While we’re disappointed to pause the tournament this year, we’re already looking ahead.
