The Mahogany Homeowners Association (MHOA) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join the role of Customer Service Representative (CSR). In this pivotal position, you’ll be at the forefront of our community engagement, serving as a primary point of contact for our residents and ensuring their experience with MHOA is positive and fulfilling. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of administrative and customer service tasks, aimed at enhancing our community’s cohesion and operational efficiency.


What you will do

  • Opening and closing the building, ensuring security and preparedness for daily activities.
  • Managing communications through voicemails and emails, and responding as needed.
  • Supporting facility bookings, membership registrations, and program payments and registrations.
  • Providing top-notch service to our residents, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues with a positive and professional demeanor.

This position is perfect for those who love the outdoors and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an Outdoor Host, you’ll be the face of our community’s outdoor spaces, ensuring that our beaches and recreational areas are welcoming, well-maintained, and safe. You’ll have the opportunity to work independently, overseeing boat and equipment rentals, and engaging with our community members to make their outdoor experiences memorable.

What you will do
  • Manage the rental of boats and recreational equipment, including efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the beach and surrounding areas, ensuring a safe and inviting environment.
  • Monitor beach activities to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations, assisting visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, reporting any issues to the Outdoor Host/Recreation – Beach Lead.

  • Conduct regular patrols and security checks throughout the Mahogany Beach Club parks and facilities to ensure a safe environment.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents and concerns, providing a calm and professional resolution.
  • Document and report on daily activities, incidents, and any hazards observed.

This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about skateboarding culture and ensuring a safe, respectful, and fun environment for all patrons. As a Skateboard Park Host, you’ll be the go-to person for maintaining order, promoting positive behavior, and making sure that park rules and etiquette are followed. We’re on the lookout for individuals who are approachable, responsible, and have a keen eye for safety and community engagement.

What you will do
  • Supervise the skateboard park during operational hours to ensure a safe and positive environment for all patrons.
  • Enforce park rules and regulations, promoting proper etiquette and respectful behavior among users.
  • Monitor skate park conditions, reporting any maintenance needs or safety hazards to ensure timely resolutions.

As a Skateboard Lesson Instructor, you’ll be instrumental in guiding beginners through the basics of skateboarding, from safety and etiquette to tricks and techniques. Your goal will be to foster a supportive learning environment where kids can advance their skills, gain confidence, and develop a lifelong love for skateboarding.

What you will do
  • Teach skateboard fundamentals to children and beginners, focusing on safety, balance, movement, and technique.

The MHOA is looking for a summer student to become our designated Water Safety Ambassador. This role is the cornerstone of our newly established Mahogany Water Safety Ambassador Program (WSAP), designed to promote water safety and education throughout our community. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing water safety initiatives, creating engaging and informative water safety activations, and spreading awareness about the importance of water and ice safety. By working closely with the Lifesaving Society, you’ll have access to leading Water Smart public education materials, empowering you to make a significant impact on our community’s safety and awareness.

What you will do
  • Initiate and oversee the Mahogany Water Safety Ambassador Program (WSAP), contributing to its success from the ground up.
  • Design and implement engaging water safety activations and educational activities for the community.
  • Distribute Water Smart public education materials in collaboration with the Lifesaving Society to increase water and ice safety awareness.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the water safety programs, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a visible and proactive advocate for water safety within the Mahogany community, leading by example.
