Lake Management & Clean-Up
At the Mahogany Homeowners Association (MHOA), we are committed to maintaining the health and beauty of our lake for all residents to enjoy. Our team works diligently throughout the year to keep the lake clean and safe.
Annual Spring Lake Clean-Up
Each spring, we organize an Annual Lake Clean-Up, where professional divers enter the lake to retrieve debris that has accumulated over the year. This proactive approach helps maintain the lake’s natural balance and ensures a clean and safe environment for our community.
Regular Patrols & Debris Removal
Our team conducts regular patrols around the lake to remove:
- Windblown garbage
- Miscellaneous debris
- Occasional misplaced bicycles
However, please note that the MHOA does not hire divers to retrieve personal belongings.
Lost an Item in the Lake?
If you have lost an item in the lake:
- Report it to MHOA reception so we can log the information.
- Our team will review lost item reports when divers conduct their spring clean-up or any additional dives.
- If you wish to hire your own scuba diver to retrieve a lost item, you must first obtain permission from the MHOA.
Reporting Debris & Garbage
If you notice garbage or debris in the lake, please report it directly to the MHOA so our staff can take action as soon as possible.
⚠ Safety Notice
During periods of thin ice or when red flags are flying, our team may be unable to retrieve debris immediately. However, rest assured that we will address it as soon as conditions allow.
Your cooperation helps us keep Mahogany Lake clean and enjoyable for everyone! Thank you for your support.
