The Volunteer Committee is having its monthly meetings this coming Monday!
Come meet neighbours giving their time, energy, talents and resources to make Mahogany and even better place to live, work and play. This month the following Sub-Committee Chairs are hosting tables:
Join Steve To as he looks towards a not so distant future with a healthy group of students in our neighbourhood growing their own leadership skills and capacity. Steve is looking to grow a team of volunteers that care about the future of our youth and work together to empower them. Chris Thurber (Operations Chair) will also give a recap of our yearly Zombie Run that just happened!
Join Veronica Linkletter chatting about the possibilities of connecting neighbours in Mahogany around things they care about. She recently started a crafting night in the neighbourhood and wants discover others willing to share their hobbies and interests with their neighbours!
Join Noelle Pink to learn more about the events that are coming in 2019 and how you might get involved! The Events Committee is always on the look out for people who love crafting amazing experiences in our neighbourhood that make us all proud to be Mahoganites. She can also loop you in on the planning/details for the much anticipated Parade of Lights coming to Mahogany on Dec 8th.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Come meet Linda and Elaine! These two amazing ladies are spearheading a free language learning class. If you or someone you know would benefit from a safe place to practice your english with capable instructors… look no further! If you also have a gift and passion for language learning and want inquire about volunteering this is for you as well.

Come chat with Todd McCaffery about his favourite topic (apart from his family) FISHING! A lot goes into caring for a lake like ours and it’s inhabitants. Our Fishing Committee does a great deal to aid in those efforts to ensure the best possible experience for our local fishing scene.
Divine Mercy School Council
Come meet a representative from the parent council! They are well into planning for a new park for the school and are currently strategizing around fundraising. Come find out how you can get involved and ask any other questions you may have.
